Taking the time to notice the beauty around you and within you is an important focus at Farallone View.  We embrace teaching mindfulness to help students develop self-awareness, build stress resilience, regulate emotions, and cultivate healthy relationships.  These life skills are the core of social emotional learning.  Teachers create mindful moments with students at least once a day.

Farallone View has historically been a school that thrives on community participation and hosts signature events such as Continent Day, Oceans Week, Holiday Bazaar, and Talent Show that serve as a catalyst for bringing everyone together and advancing community building, art and creativity, thematic teaching, multicultural exposure, world cuisine, fundraising, and environmental stewardship.

In November 2024, U.S. News & World Report published their 2025 Best Elementary Schools. Farallone View Elementary School placed among the top 40% of elementary schools in the state of California, making it a U.S. News Best Elementary School.
